SUSTAINABILITY is one of the keystones of SportStick´.

Sustainability is a precious word that lead us to think firstly about a process that is capable to co-exist in balance with other elements, right?

But what´s the definition of Sustainability?

According to Cambridge dictionary, sustainability is:

The quality of being able to continue over a period of time, and

The quality of causing little or no damage to the environment and therefore able to continue for a long time.

Therefore, Environmental Sustainability means that whatever we do or produce or create, the process of doing so should not harm the environment. It´s very simple!

However, since Humanity entered in the industrial era, our desire to produce has placed the need to protect the planet where we live in second or third place as a priority.

Years of destruction of natural sources of the planet, which we were considering unlimited, have brought us to a pivotal point where we must rethink our ways of doing, producing and creating.

So, how could we produce our products in a sustainable way?

A good answer might be keeping sustainability focused on meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

SportStick had established a few standarts of Sustainability on the production process, that are:

·Using ingredients that are natural or those derived from renewable sources;

·Creating a biodegradable sunscreen capable of decompose naturally in the environment, without leaving harmful residues;

·Doing partnership with partners that also committed to respecting and caring for Nature, while producing with high quality standards;

·Working with initiatives that regenerate the land, preserve water sources and reduce global plastic pollution, as SportStick already does.

·And, just as important as the other points, formulating an effective sunscreen, sustainable for all skin types, free from harmful additives, ensuring health and safety for our bodies!
