We have recently read articles that talk about a decrease in the number of people who practice outdoor sports since 2023.
On the other hand, we are now witnessing in the summer an increase in the number of championships in all types of outdoor sports, with a considerable number of public and participants.
So, how could we encourage the audience of outdoor sports competitions to practice sports?
Here are some interesting arguments to consider:
Physical and mental health benefits are common sense. We feel not only more confident about our health, but we also tend to be happier, more relaxed and energetic at the same time.
It promotes a social interaction with like-minded people which could forge new friendships with common interests
Beginning a new sport means to learning new skills that we can use in our daily life such as discipline, perseverance and achieving goals.
Of course, the ludic argument of having lots of fun practicing sports is the first one that we think about! The good news is there is a wide range of outdoor sports to choose from, catering to different interests and skill levels, whether on land, water or in the air.
And lastly, but as important as the other arguments, is the interaction with Nature that outdoor sports provide us. For us, this is an unbeatable argument, and you only need to live the experience to understand its meaning!
